Summer 2013.
Manila, Philippines.

Brian and Lyn are one of my favorite couple ^_^

Brian is Australian while Lyn is Filipino.. they met in HK and traveled around the world where Brian’s work take them.. we first met in Jakarta while Brian was designing one of most prestigious building.. then accidentally met in Bali for holiday.. before they finally settled in Manila.

Luckily, I had the chance to visit them there.. where they took us to see the second most active volcano from the city by car.. then we continued by horse (!!) to the steep terrain where we could take photos of the mountain and the lake.

Up until now.. even if they’re far from sight but still close to the heart.

No matter how domesticated they are.. my Grandma is always worry whenever I play with these kind of (supposedly, wild) animals.. as she said with horrifying tone,

“How come you can be so sure that it’s not looking at you as its breakfast or lunch?!?”

But still.. it’s such an adrenaline-pumping to try to touch one of these ^_^

Summer 2018.
Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

This hilly-contoured property is simply breath-taking.. it lives up to its name (meaning “heaven”, literally) as it’s really maximizing the natural state to build a very meticulous resort.

Beautiful room(s) and bathroom makes you want to dip in half-egg tub forever.. and the infinity pool lets you enjoy the sunset while munching a very scrumptious meals ^_^

Spring 2014.
Bangkok, Thailand.

It’s fascinating to see how to make a silk fabric.. explained by multi-language guides.
It starts from silkworms which cocoons are harvested.. then weaved to become beautiful things from scarves to handbags.

The house itself is so unique.. with restaurants and also souvernir shops where you could purchase lots of silk works.
